For the latest studio updates, new collections and a behind-the-scenes look at the making process.
Those ribbons I trim away are never wasted. Once dried, they are slaked in water, then spread onto a plaster batt to dry until the clay reaches the perfect consistency for wedging.
Nothing is discarded, only transformed, ready to be thrown again. #handmadeceramics #handmade #wheelthrownceramics #recycle #clay
After a busy Open Studio in June it been great to get back at the wheel. Loving experimenting with bigger forms.…After drying slowly next stage is to trim and add a footring.#handmadeceramics #ceramics #wheelthrown #salad #bowls
And that’s a wrap on Art in June 2026! 🎉
Three weekends, countless conversations, and so much inspiration.
I’d like to thank everyone who visited, shared stories, asked questions, and took the time to stop by. It was a privilege to connect with so many lovely people and share my passion for making.
And a special thank you to everyone who took a pot home with them. It makes me so happy knowing my work is out there being enjoyed. ❤️
And if you missed Art in June, my studio display will remain up for another week, so there’s still time to visit. If you would like to come and have a look, please do get in touch. #handmadeceramics #unique #ceramics #handmade #pottersofinstagram
